You might call me a fool if you so like, but I prefer to watch streaming movies over the internet. I do not have the spare time to stand in long queues without there being any assurance of my getting a ticket. After a long and tiring week at the office nothing makes me happier than watching a good rib-tickling comedy. I have heard the The Joneses is a smashing comedy and that is what I plan to see next. As I sad before that you might call me a fool if you like.
This movie is produced by the famous Echo Lake Productions and is being distributed by Roadside Attractions. What popped my eyes were the cast which included my all time favorite, Demi Moore. Apart from her, the cast also includes David Duchovny, gary Cole, Amber Heard, Glenne Headly, Chris Williams and Lauren Hutton. When a picture perfect family shifts to a suburban neighborhood, it is evitable that they will become the cynosure of all eyes. What the neighbors do not suspect is that this family is a fake one and has been commissioned by a marketing company to push sale luxury level goods. Derrick Borte has done a terrific job of both screenwriting & directing this hilarious comedy.
I shall not blame you if you believe that movies over the internet are not so good. In fact most sites that deliver streaming movies fail to maintain audio and video quality. However, there are some sites that do provide awesome quality picture and sound and they do not charge any money for it. It is one of those sites that I log into every weekend to enjoy movies. As I said before, you might still call me an idiot… but I doubt you will.
However, there is one sad angle to this entire episode. Prior to discovering this awesome free online movie site, my friends never used to visit my home. Nowadays they are always present at my place. The wide screen plasma TV that I recently purchased just to enjoy these movies has enthralled them so much, than instead of watching the movies at their home, they prefer to watch it at my place. Obviously, I have to foot the bill for the snacks and cold drinks. However, I do not mind it… after what are friends for? I just wish I too could view the movie.
